To make these treatments most comfortable and easy for you to receive, we provide sedation dentistry if you have dental anxiety or nervousness about having dental treatment. Our team is adept at using these sedative medications to help you relax during your time in the chair so we can do the work your smile needs while helping you feel most relaxed and comfortable. You can choose from a few different sedation options, depending on your unique needs:

-Laughing Gas (also called nitrous oxide, or N2O): This is a light but effective form of sedation where sedative gas is mixed with oxygen which you inhale through a mask to relax you during your treatment. The nitrous oxide gas effects wear off as soon as the flow of gas is stopped, and you can drive yourself home normally.

-Oral sedation: This form of sedation allows you to take medication orally before you come in for your scheduled treatment so that when you come in, you will feel calm and relaxed and ready to be treated.

-IV sedation: This sedation delivery method allows us to sedate you intravenously (delivered through the veins instead of breathing in or swallowing the medication).  This is a quick form of sedation and is controlled while you are in the chair. While you are fully awake, you may fall asleep while you are being treated and not remember all of your time here.

We are pleased to be able to offer you the sedation treatment you need to allow you to get the dental care you deserve. Patients who have a sensitive gag reflex also find that sedation can help them relax enough to treat any condition necessary with ease.
